2008 KTM X-Bow

Produced by Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM the X-Bow ("crossbow") is an ultra-light sports car for road and race use. The X-Bow was the first car in their product range and was launched in 2008. The X-Bow was developed along side Kiska Design, Audi, and Dallarea. The X-Bow uses a Turbocharged four-cylinder 2.0 litre Audi factory engine . The standard 2008 model produces 237 hp and can accelerate from 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 217 km/h (134.9 mph).

This particular car was supplied new in September 2008 (58 plate) and has had just 2 private owners from new. The car is road registered, fully serviced, taxed and with an MOT until July 2012. The factory fitted extras when new included: carbon pack (all body panels, full floor, fenders, rear spoiler, diffuser and side pods), limited slip differential, Multi function Instrument display, Sports suspension (WP 3 way remote adjustable dampers with ride height adjusters), Quick shift gear change, racing headlight covers and wheel centres.

It was further upgraded in July 2011 to receive a 300 bhp engine upgrade with specialist firm 'Backdraft' at a cost of over £4,400 and also received 'Armourfend' protective film over all the exposed carbon fibre components at a further cost of £1,500. The exhaust was exchanged for a 'Race Decat Exhaust' which now sounds absolutely fantastic!

Both private owners are enthusiasts, not racers, and the car has never been used on a race track or trackday during it's lifetime, has had no accident damage and has only covered 4,000 miles in total, most of which were covered on a single European Tour.

Complete with manual 6-speed gearbox, removable multi-function steering wheel, keyless go, reach adjustable foot pedals and a racing 4-point harness, this car offers exceptional value for money at virtually half of it's cost new today.
