Aston Martin was the dominant force in World Sportscar Racing in the late Fifties, winning Le Mans in 1959 with the factory DBR 1 driven by Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby. They went on to win the World Sportscar Championship in the same year, becoming only the second manufacturer to beat Ferrari at the time. This inspiration led the factory to return to World Sportscars Racing during the last decade, under the guiding eye of Aston Martin owner and Chairman, David Richards, through his world renowned Prodrive Racing Team in Banbury. Offered here is the 2012 Aston Martin Le Mans support race winner entered by Villois Racing for drivers Filippi/Lavio.
