2010 Ford Focus RS, Lux Pack I & II - Just 1,800 miles

After awarding the car Five Stars, this is what the team at Auto Express had to say about the new Ford Focus RS when launched: “The engineers have done an amazing job. It"s got storming performance, amazing handling and grip, but also real character thanks to that charismatic five-cylinder engine.” Now, six years later, our opinion of this car exactly tallies with this summation.

This Focus RS absolutely screams 'Hot Hatch' with its vibrant Electric Green paintwork and extreme styling. Unlike so many low mileage examples, our car benefits from having been serviced every year, six services in total, by its one and only keeper, despite having traveled fewer than 2,000 miles from new. A real rarity.

This is the Focus that Ford originally claimed it would never build – a limited run 300bhp super-hatch. But we"re delighted they did. We make no apology for what it is, with a huge twin-blade spoiler at the back, an aggressive bodykit, and serious performance from the turbocharged 2.5-litre, 5-cylinder engine. It delivers scintillating performance and is unmatched in its ability on the road, however, it"s also a true dual-purpose machine, with refined road manners for the (few) occasions when you don"t want to go fast.

Sold with all its accompanying book packs, a current MOT and in almost showroom order throughout as you"d expect. There are not likely to be many opportunities to buy such a well maintained and equivalent low-mileage car as this….
