BMW's 1M was the first of the new generation of M cars to use turbo-charging, and with more torque than the V8-powered M3, the 335 bhp six-cylinder, 3-litre, twin-turbo power unit generates linear thrust whatever the revs, taking just 4.9 seconds from 0-62mph and producing a magnificent howl in the process. With 50/50 weight distribution and that intuitive M-Power diff, the car is eminently chuckable and is the complete driving enthusiasts dream.

This amazing, UK-supplied, right-hand drive 1M has been owned since new by rock legend Jay Kay and has only covered 5,500 miles in that time. Finished in the classic combination of Alpine White with a Black Boston leather interior, the original Bill of Sale included in the cars history file discloses that this focussed little machine was also specified with the media package. The car was initially supplied by Sytner High Wycombe, who have continued to service it from new with five stamps in the accompanying service book, the most recent of which was on 04/10/2019.
