Background:
The Ducati Monster 696 is a well-regarded icon in the world of naked motorcycles, known for its striking design and thrilling performance. The 696+ ABS Anniversary Edition takes that legacy one step further, offering enhanced features and style.
The Bike:
This custom Ducati Monster 696+ ABS Anniversary Edition is a perfect blend of aggressive styling and top-tier performance. The bike’s fuel tank and pillion seat have been refinished in a custom black metallic paint, with a bold Ferrari red stripe running centrally, giving it a dynamic and modern look that immediately stands out. The striking paintwork accentuates the bike’s muscular lines and adds a touch of racing pedigree.
To complement the visual upgrades, the custom seat has enhanced comfort without compromising on style. It now features handcrafted red stitching, seamlessly integrating with the bike’s overall aesthetic while ensuring a comfortable ride for both the rider and passenger.
A custom mesh front mudguard adds a further aggressive element to the design, setting the bike apart from the standard model and emphasising its unique character. This modification not only adds to the bike’s visual appeal but also improves aerodynamics, ensuring a smoother ride.
For improved performance, the original exhaust system has been upgraded with high-performance SC-Project slip-on silencers. These not only reduce weight but also provide a significant power boost, increasing output by up to 4.2bhp at 4,350rpm. The result is a distinctive exhaust note that enhances the riding experience, giving the Monster 696 a deep, throaty growl that matches its performance.
In keeping with the modern and sophisticated look, the bike has been fitted with sleek LED indicators that improve visibility while adding a touch of elegance to the overall design.
The bike is also equipped with premium accessories, including Rizoma bar-end mirrors and Ducati levers. These functional yet stylish additions improve both ergonomics and aesthetics, rounding off the bike’s refined appearance.
