2019 Morgan Plus 4

The Plus 4 has been Morgan's most popular model since its launch in 1950. A versatile and well-balanced sports car, the Plus 4 became a Morgan institution, before being superseded by the all-new Plus Four in 2020, and represented the sweet spot within Morgan’s diverse and occasionally confusing range of models. The Plus 4 possessed more power and performance than the contemporary 4/4, whilst retaining a level of fuel economy that made it ideal for long distance touring particularly in its final iteration (2014-20) when it was fitted with the 154bhp 2.0-litre Ford GDI engine.

The experience of driving a Plus 4 has always been exhilarating, engaging and enjoyable and is even more so now that the traditional set up is complimented by a modern engine and drivetrain, striking a perfect balance between ‘new and old’. Originally registered as a dealer demonstrator this charming Classic Morgan Plus 4, finished in Hot Red with a black hide interior, has had one private owner since being four months old and is in exceptional condition throughout with just 4,600 miles covered in the intervening period. Ordered with the usual desirable additions to the factory specification including Stainless Steel Wire Wheels including the spare, front and rear over riders, external door handles and mirrors, high level brake light, embossed headrests and a Moto-Lita steering wheel. A traditional Morgan with low ownership and mileage is a desirable addition for any classic motoring enthusiast providing trouble free motoring at the turn of the key and open top enjoyment just as it should be and with proven engineering principles and that instantly recognisable shape of long bonnet, swooping wings and those low cut doors.
