SUMMARY
The C6 from 2005 was already the fastest Corvette to date but the addition of twin APS Turbos takes it to another level.
DESCRIPTION
- Shorter and narrower than the preceding C5 but with a longer wheelbase, the C6 was capable of 186mph making it the fastest Corvette ever
- This convertible example is finished in Black (41U) with an Ebony interior and emerged from Chevrolet's Bowling Green Kentucky plant in 2005
- Fitted with an LS2 6.0-litre V8 (400bhp as standard) mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox
- An APS twin-turbo kit with intercoolers has been fitted. Set up by Wortec, one of the best tuners in the UK for this type of application, torque is massive and power out is now a conservative 580bhp with potential for much more
- Brembo brake upgrade, Callaway coil-over suspension and Eibach springs
- Externally, the car wears a stunning full carbon fibre body kit with front splitter, canards, side skirts, rear diffuser and rear lip spoiler
- No expense has been spared ensuring that this fabulous Corvette runs, handles, stops and looks as it should. Really special
