One of The Biggest Beasts in The Classic Car Jungle Leads Silverstone Auctions’ Next Sale One of The Rarest and Most Revered Supercars of The Last 25 Years, Heads up The Silverstone Auctions Supercar Fest Sale on Saturday 20th May

2000 TVR Cerbera Speed 12 - the only TVR-built road car - Price on Application

This 2000 TVR Cerbera Speed 12 was the only TVR-built road car and shot to fame when it was used as a model for the Gran Turismo Computer Game. One of the rarest and most revered supercars of the last 25 years, it is up for auction at the Silverstone Auctions Sale of Iconic and Classic Cars at Supercar Fest, at Sywell Aerodrome, Northampton.
Heading up what promises to be a fantastic sale line-up of iconic supercars, is this Cerbera Speed 12, is a defining example of its kind. This is a rare opportunity to own an exceptional and unique motor car, fully sanctioned by the marque and coming from diligent enthusiast-ownership.
The vehicle, known as the TVR Project 7/12, first appeared at the 1996 Birmingham Motor Show and dominated the show once it was unveiled, attracting more crowds than any other car in the show. The number "7" referred to the 7.7 litre (actually 7.73 L) engine, and "12" for the number of cylinders in the engine. TVR claimed that the engine would have a power output of more than 800 hp (597 kW) and be faster than the McLaren F1.
Fully prepared by TVR engineers over two years, this road-going GT1 car is uniquely fitted with the correct race-bred 7.7-litre, 840bhp V12 engine and the final evolution of the race car carbon-fibre bodywork. Originally offered for sale directly by TVR’s Peter Wheeler, this car have been widely featured in the motoring press.
Supercar Fest, now it its fifth year, is growing into one of the leading supercar events in the UK and Silverstone Auctions are delighted to announce that as part of the event this year there will be a special sale of Ferraris in association with the Ferrari Owners’ Club GB.

This right-hand drive, Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec will also be crossing the auction block at this sale. First registered in Japan in February 1999 by its original owner who kept it until 2015. 2012 Ferrari California 30 | Guide Price £75,000 to £85,000
Another Ferrari joining the sale is this lovely Ferrari California, first introduced at the Paris Salon in 2008, the California had been conceived as a ‘Grand Tourer’ rather than an out-and-out sports car and was intended to appeal to those who might otherwise opt for a Bentley, an Aston Martin or an SL-Class Mercedes-Benz. Less demanding to drive than its siblings and therefore more approachable during everyday, 'real world' motoring, the notional 2+2-seater more than fulfilled its brief of attracting a whole new generation of customers to the Ferrari fold.
On offer from its fourth registered keeper, this impressively specified, right-hand drive California 30 was supplied new by Dick Lovett Ferrari in Swindon and first registered in 2012. It has covered just 19,980 miles from new and is supported by a comprehensive Ferrari Main dealer service history.
