DESCRIPTION

The Moss '61 50th anniversary Moss Monaco Chronograph celebrates the 50th anniversary of an important victory in Stirling's early career. On May 14th 1961, Stirling Moss won the Monaco Grand Prix in style beating the Ferraris in the Rob Walker Lotus-Climax 18. This was not only Stirling's last race at Monaco but also his final victory in the Principality. This fine timepiece is finished in the team colours of Rob Walker racing and every dial is hand signed by Sir Stirling prior to the watch's final assembly. The edition is limited to just 161 pieces worldwide!

This is Stirling's personal watch and is No.21/61. Complete with a leather travel pouch, owner's manual, two spare leather straps and photographs of Stirling wearing the watch.

The watch is individually numbered and is engraved to the rear with the date and race finish details. In a superb presentation display box which is also signed and numbered by Sir Stirling Moss. Finished in polished German stainless steel, each watch comes with 3 Austrian high-quality leather straps complete with strap change tool. The movement is the renowned Swiss Valjoux ETA 7750 Chronograph movement with a quick change calendar and is water-resistant to 5atm. The face glass is Italian Sapphire Glass and the rear case is also sapphire glass allowing a view of the movement and contained within is a small section of Stirling's last ever race suit.
