DESCRIPTION
Bears typed inscription verso;
'Depicts the momentous event when RAF Lieutenant Stuart Douglas Culley who flew a Sopwith Camel, took off from a ‘lighter’ towed by the destroyer HMS Redoubt on the 18 August 1918 , climbed to 19,000 feet and shot down, over the North Sea, the L53 ( LZ 100) , ‘ this was a most difficult undertaking involving great personal risk, and the highest praise is due to Lt. Culley for the gallantry and skill he displayed’ . The L 53 was the last Zeppelin destroyed in World War I (WW1). Lt Culley was awarded the DSO. on 2 November 1918 in recognition of his bravery.'

Any vehicles not collected by 2pm on 30th May will be taken to EM Rogers storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £175 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 30th onwards.
Automobilia can be collected from Sywell Aerodrome over the weekend or on Monday morning between 9am and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
