DESCRIPTION
The Canberra is a twin engine bomber aircraft conceived at the end of the 2nd world war. The aircraft proved very successful especially at altitude and provided over 50 years of service with the Royal Air Force
This is a lovely clean, early spec Avon jet engine with aircraft history and know hrs.
This engine has the MOD F731 paperwork showing removed from aircraft serial WK128 at Llanbedr in 1996. WK128 started life as a B2 and was then converted to a TT18 flying in Royal Aircraft establishment Raspberry Ripple colours of red white and blue.
The engine has been blanked, bagged and desiccant packed. The engine sits in the correct transit stand.
This is a rare opportunity as you just don't find Avons like this anymore.....
As it stands this would make a fantastic museum exhibit or entrance Foyer display piece.
OR potential re-use with the appropriate inspection, test, overhaul.

Fault / reason for removal appears to show : ''PV Ram U/S Fuel leak'' although this is hard to read.

-Front of engine 90cm diameter
-Length of engine 285cm from front case to end of exhaust unit. The starter dome adds a extra 30cm approx
-weight 1500kg approx

Our transport partners, EM Rogers, can assist with collection and delivery. Please contact them on

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in
Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.
Motorcycles
Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a
fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.
Automobilia
Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am
and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in
Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
