SUMMARY
Beautifully laid-out 1909 Drew six-person, picnic set with a fine, honey leather edged case. 114 years old and in lovely honest condition. Just fabulous.
DESCRIPTION
Complete with a set of fine bone china cups and saucers and white with gilt edged enamel plates. Central copper kettle with fine woven wicker handle with burner and ornate burner fretwork stand, all exactly as found. Four fine, unused open wicker covered drinking bottles, all with matching ceramic clip stoppers. Two ceramic-based sandwich boxes. Square ceramic butter pot and preserves jar with ceramic lids held in place by leather straps. Full set of cutlery, attractively held in the lid with the original leather straps. Salt and pepper glass condiment bottles housed in leather containers in the lid. The lid is held shut by two substantial brass lock catches and sturdy leather carrying handle, complete with its original key.
An excellent, useable picnic set for a fine picnic or to gain valuable points at a prestigious concours event for Veteran or Edwardian cars.
