SUMMARY
Looking good for 103 years old! Imported to the UK in 2017 having been on long-term display in a US museum.
DESCRIPTION
- Confirmed by the Model T Register of Great Britain that the year of manufacture has been established as 1920. 'The vehicle consists of genuine period components and those of the same specification as when the vehicle was built. The chassis is original and correct to the year and the vehicle is a true reflection of the marque. The Tourer body is of the type manufactured in 1920. The front and rear axles are also correct Model T Ford axles and of the type used in 1920'
- Purchased by our vendor's late father in the USA and imported to the UK in February 2017
- The V5C states it was first registered in 1919 but the Model T Register believe that it's a 1920 model as previously mentioned
- Supplied with the HMRC Import Certificate along with the Ford Model T Register's Inspection Report
- Believe to have been in a museum in Hershey for around 30 years
- No early history. From our vendor; 'I know my dad had changed the tyres, inner tubes, front wheel bearings, bushes, reconditioned batteries to plugs. It was fully useable.'
