UK-registered from new Royal Ruby 7hp 1,000cc V-twin.
DESCRIPTION
- Royal Ruby were a Manchester-based motorcycle company that produced a range of quality motorcycles between 1906 and 1922
- In 1916, they produced a shipment of JAP V-Twin powered motorbikes destined for the Russian Imperial Army
- The 1917 Russian revolution caused payment disruptions and the bikes remained unpaid
- Bikes destined for Russia were then sold to other markets and a few were sold in the UK
- Having chain drive and sidecar lugs this bike is believed to be ex WD, built but unused then sold post WWI
- UK-registered from new with a current V5C and in very original condition
- Restored to its current condition c.ten years ago. Has run recently but may require some recommissioning before road use
- Still complete with its acetylene lights and rare Smiths speedo

Full payment must be received before any item is available to be released.

Any motorcycles not collected by 2pm on Monday 31st July will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day thereafter.
