DESCRIPTION

  • The 4.88hp Model 501 featured Enfield's own 488cc single-cylinder with an aluminium-alloy piston, stiffened crankcase and roller-bearing main and big-ends
  • Sturmey-Archer 3-speed gearbox (a 4-speed was a £2 option)
  • This super example was restored by its owner in the late 1990s
  • Museum-stored from that date
  • Will require full recommissioning prior to use, but a very worthwhile, sound example

Please note all motorcycles must be out of the venue by midday on Monday 20th February due to venue restrictions.

We are permitted to remove a limited number of motorcycles after the auction on Saturday (between 6pm – 8pm) and after the show closes on Sunday 19th February (between 5pm – 7pm).

Please note Motorcycles cannot be removed from the hall during live event hours.

All other motorcycles must be removed from the venue between 9am – 11am on Monday 20th February.

Any motorcycles not collected by 11am on Monday 20th February will be taken to our transport partners’ facility in Northamptonshire for a fee of £125 + VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £10 per day thereafter.
