SUMMARY

Good looking 1950s Special built on a 1936 Lagonda chassis with motivation by Vauxhall.

DESCRIPTION

  • JT (Bill) Hines was the man behind the Dunsmore Specials. We’re informed this example was built in the 1950s and is bodied as a two-seat Sports Tourer with a boat-tail rear end
  • Currently fitted with a VX4/90, 2.3-litre, four-cylinder engine with twin Stromberg carburettors providing exciting performance for a car which weighs so little
  • Registered as a 1936 Lagonda M45 Rapide Saloon
  • Would be fun to use on the road as well as a possible entry to any hill climb or sprint event when fitted with the appropriate safety equipment
  • On offer from a significant private Collection of British sports cars and very sensibly guided
