Rare 'Barn Find' S2 Monet-Goyon 98cc offered at 'No Reserve'.
DESCRIPTION
- Monet & Goyon was formed in April 1917 to build specialised three-wheeled vehicles
- Their lightweight bikes were successful racers, winning the French Championship between 1924/7
- The 'S 2' Series of light "velomoteurs" was introduced in France in 1937,
- This example of the S2 is powered by a BMA-produced Villiers twin-port 98cc engine
- In 'barn find' condition, it appears to be mostly complete and the engine turns over
- There is no paperwork and the bike is being 'sold as seen' at No Reserve
- Undoubtedly a "journey" but imagine the sense of achievement when it was finished
