SUMMARY
Velocette MSS 500-engined KTS frame being offered with No Reserve.
DESCRIPTION
- Hall Green-based Veloce Ltd started manufacturing bikes in the early 1900s
- With numerous TT victories in the 1920s and a reputation for build quality, Velocettes quickly became desirable bikes
- This mostly unrestored machine has been laid up for some considerable time
- The frame has been changed from its original 1946 MSS to an earlier 1936 KTS example
- The engine and forks are correct for the 1946 MSS and gearbox appears to be a pre-war unit
- No current V5C present but is registered still on its original number, showing incorrect frame number
- Complete with an old V5, RF60 log book and a collection of Velocette handbooks
- Will require recommissioning or restoring before road use. Obtaining a new V5C will be the responsibility of the buyer
- Being offered with No Reserve
