SUMMARY
Ex-WWII Norton 16H fitted with a 'Big 4' engine.
DESCRIPTION
- The Norton 16H was produced from the early 1900s with a 490cc engine until the early 1950s
- This example was re-fitted with a 1940 633cc 'Big 4' engine during its time with the MOD
- With its reliable side-valve engine with good torque, it became very popular as a sidecar puller
- Widely used in WWII by the British and Russian forces due to its ease of use, low maintenance and fuel economy
- This ex-MOD example is presented in older restored condition and in running order
- Registered for the road in Birmingham in April 1946 after being decommissioned
- Complete with history file containing old RF60 logbook, VMCC dating letter, old photos, receipts and old handbook
- Great example with good history
