DESCRIPTION
- With its 'skirted fenders' a Chief is one of most recognizable motorcycles on the road
- The 1946 models used an adaptation of the 841 Indian’s girder fork with a hydraulic damper and four inches more travel and was extremely comfortable to ride
- This is one of only 6,500 Chiefs built during 1946. Now UK registered with a current V5C
- Imported from California dealer Starklite Indian Motorcycles over 20 years ago
- Restored over the years using mostly original NOS parts where possible
- 74ci (1200cc) engine rebuilt but not used since. Turns over with good compression
- Correct numbers machine retaining its original seat. Tank clear of any corrosion
- Correct Auto Lite distributor and electrics. Correct M344 carburettor
- Dry stored since restoration and will require a little recommissioning before use
- Considered by many to be one of the icons of American Motorcycles and rare in the UK

Motor vehicles
Our transport partners, EM Rogers, can assist with collection and delivery. Please contact them on 01604 755511 or trafficdesk@emrogers.co.uk for a quote.
Any cars not collected by 2pm on Monday 15th November will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in Northampton for a fee of ÂŁ175 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at ÂŁ10 plus VAT per day from the Monday onwards.
Motorcycles
Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 2pm on Monday 15th November will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a fee of ÂŁ110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at ÂŁ5 plus VAT per day thereafter.
Automobilia
Automobilia can be collected from The NEC over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
