DESCRIPTION
- One of the most famous racing motorcycles of all time and named after the Manx Grand Prix
- Launched initially in 1939 as an 'over the counter' race bike in either 350cc or 500cc spec and in production until the end of 1962
- Developed continuously throughout its lifetime with the additions of double overhead-camshaft engines and 'featherbed' frames
- c.1947 Norton 350 Manx ridden by Dennis Langton at the Manx Grand Prix between 1948 and 1953
- Best overall finish was 30th in 1953 at an average speed of 76.27mph
- Laid up for years then discovered and sympathetically restored in 2003
- Ridden at the Classic Parade at the Isle of Man TT in 2004
- Long stroke model. Mostly original with great patina
- Dennis was reunited with the machine in 2003
- Complete with pictured spares, paddock stand, history file with numerous period photographs, race reports, 1953 Manx Grand Prix programme, 1949 finishers medal and Dennis Langton's race licence
