SUMMARY
Replica Douglas 'Works' Competition Trials machine.
DESCRIPTION
- Douglas produced motorcycles from 1907 to 1957 from their Bristol factory
- Best know for their twin-cylinder bikes with either inline or transverse engine layouts
- Not known for trials bikes due to their unusual mechanical layout but the factory did produce some competition models in the late 1940s/early 1950s
- Authentic replica of one of the original factory trials machines
- Our vendor purchased the bike from the dealers, Verralls. UK-registered on a V5C
- One of only a handful of examples of this model that are known to exist
- Part of a private Collection and not run for a while so may require some recommissioning before use
