Famous Earles, alloy-framed, Lightweight TT Manxman.
DESCRIPTION
- Built in c.1949 by Ernie Earles using a hand-built aluminium frame and 250cc OHC Manxman engine
- Raced by Jack Sparrow in the early 1950s to some success at the Isle of Man TT
- Results were 1951-15th, 1952-21st, 1953-Retired, 1954-16th
- Bought by TT legend Bill Smith in 1955 who then competed on it at various events throughout the 1950's
- The engine is believed to be a Works engine
- Formed part of a private collection for last few years
- Features in the Paul Ingham book "Excelsior The Racing Years"
- Not run for some time so will require some recommissioning before use
- Great opportunity to own an unusual piece of Excelsior Manxman/TT history

Any motorcycles not collected by 12pm on Monday 15th May will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day thereafter.
