A fine example of the legendary 'Series C' Black Shadow in good running order.
DESCRIPTION
- During the early 1950s, Vincent were at the top of their game and the Series C Black Shadow represented the pinnacle of British motorcycling
- Capable of 120mph, it was easily the fastest vehicle on the roads in post-war Britain
- Still an icon today and sought after by enthusiasts and collectors alike
- An older restoration described by our vendor as 'in good running order'
- Shipped new to Dublin on 02/06/1950 and bought back to the UK in early 1980s. A major restoration followed to its current condition, recent engine refurb by previous owner with receipts
- Correct numbers, upper frame appears to have been replaced and re-stamped in period
- The bike is a known machine to the Vincent Owners Club
- Magneto and dynamo reconditioned at the same time
- History file included containing numerous receipts
- UK-registered on a current V5C
