SUMMARY

This, matching-numbers, Series 'C' Rapide has a known history from new and remains in outstanding condition.

DESCRIPTION

  • Post-war Vincents bristled with innovative features and were finished to a remarkably high standard, resulting in a showroom price that was virtually double that of its contemporaries
  • However, it was the fabulous performance on offer from the powerful 998cc V-Twin that became legendary and is still talked about with reverence today. With a top speed approaching 120mph, the Vincent V-twin was the fastest vehicle on the road in period
  • JHO 51 is a matching-numbers, Series 'C' Rapide with known history from day one
  • Supplied new in 1950 by Jenkins & Purser of Southampton
  • Restored over a seven year period by marque specialist Bob Culver and completed in 2012
  • A lengthy feature in Classic Bike 2013, a copy of which is included in the history file, documents JHO 51’s return to the road
  • In outstanding condition throughout and ready to grace any serious collection
  • Detailed history available on request
  • Your early inspection is welcomed and encouraged
