DESCRIPTION
- During the early 1950s, Vincent were at the top of their game, and the Series C Black Shadow represented the pinnacle of British motorcycling
- Capable of 120mph, it was easily the fastest vehicle on the roads in post-war Britain
- Still an icon today and sought after by enthusiasts and collectors alike
- This older restoration example is described by our vendor as 'in good running order and probably more of a user than a show bike'
- Numbers confirmed by the VOC as dispatched in July 1950 to dealers, Millars in Mitcham, Surrey
- Correct main frame and engine numbers but rear frame number not visible
- Fitted with a Vincent Lightning exhaust system
- UK-registered from new and still retains its original registration number
- Supplied with its current V5C and some associated paperwork

Motorcycles are available to collect after the auction until 6pm, and then from 10am until 2pm on Monday 31st July from: The Discovery Hub, The Shuttleworth Collection, Alder Drive, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, SG18 9EP (please use the gate off Hill Lane).
Full payment must be received before any item is available to be released.

Any motorcycles not collected by 2pm on Monday 31st July will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day thereafter.
