SUMMARY
A super example of the comparatively rare Mk II TD Midget. An older restoration with upgraded engine components and a huge history file.

- Powered by the proven 54bhp, 1250cc XPAG engine with a four-speed manual transmission, it was reputedly capable of 75mph and 26mpg
- Introduced in 1951, the more powerful Mk II offered 60bhp and 82mph
- This wonderful, original UK-supplied, Mk II is a matching-numbers car finished in Apple Green with Beige leather seats, a matching Rexine-covered dashboard, white-faced Jaeger instruments, Bakelite switches and a Bluemels Bakelite wheel
- #29477 was one of the last built leaving Abingdon on 16/07/1953 bound for Parkside Garage in Coventry
- Subject to a body-off restoration some years ago, and the gearbox, front suspension and rear brake cylinders were rebuilt in 2017
- During the engine rebuild it was treated to a steel billet Phoenix crankshaft, new camshaft and flywheel starter ring gear, and more recently, a Brown and Gammons rear crank seal conversion
