SUMMARY
A fabulous opportunity for entry level classic car ownership with a rarely seen model. To be sold with 'No Reserve'.
DESCRIPTION
- Registered on the 02/02/1954 to the first of just two private owners
- The Consul cost £732 new and the 1.5-litre engine returned 26mpg with a top speed of 72mph
- A capable family car, very few Consuls have survived daily use and the British weather
- The second owner treated the car to paint and interior works over the last decade, evidenced by photographs and receipts
- With recently rebuilt carburettors this Consul would be an ideal first step into classic car ownership
- The coachwork would benefit from corrosion rectification in places whilst the 67-year old interior could be enhanced
- Offered to auction with its V5C, historic receipts, period marketing literature and photographic record of its respray
