DESCRIPTION

  • The Triton motorcycle first appeared in the late 60s and early 70s and was a hybrid of a Triumph engine mounted in a Norton 'featherbed' frame
  • These bikes were not available from a main dealship but were kit build projects to complete at home, however, some bike shops offered a full build service if required
  • Dresda Autos began making bespoke frames for these bikes using revised geometry for racing, becoming known as Dresda Tritons and are sought after today
  • This example has been built using a Dresda-modified 1955 Norton frame housing a 1960 750cc 34bhp Triumph Thunderbird engine
  • It features a modern ignition system and retro-modern gauges
  • Not ridden since being built and some small finishing touches and recommisioning required.
  • Supplied with a current V5C and file containing parts reciepts and build information
  • UK-registered, MOT and tax exempt
