A delightful piece of mid-1950s Americana, attractively presented with an amazing interior.
DESCRIPTION
- Although Virgil Exner restyled most of the Chrysler range in 1955, the more conservative Windsor models were not included
- By 1956, however, his new 'Forward Look' was adopted by Windsor Sedans, and tailfins, although small compared to later years, appeared for the first time
- Powered by a 5.4-litre (331ci) V8 offering 225bhp and 310lb/ft of torque. 3-speed, push-button operated auto transmission
- This four-door Windsor saloon was purchased by our vendor in 2018 and has formed part of his collection since
- Classically presented in Cloud White and Raven Black with lots of chrome and whitewall tyres
- If the exterior is conventional, the interior is anything but, being dramatically finished in vibrant orange and black and appears to have been fully restored/retrimmed fairly recently
- Since its purchase, it's benefitted from extensive repairs, including a new core, new headlining and many other improvements
- It's accompanied by an unusually large history file for an American import which includes an original sales brochure and Bill of Sale and there are a couple of boxes of original spares in the boot

Due to venue restrictions we need to be clear of the WEC by 1pm on Monday 19th therefore any motor vehicles not collected by this time will be taken to our transport partners storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day.
