This rare Scott Flying Squirrel was subject to a £5,000-plus meticulous restoration and now described by our vendor as in 'immaculate condition'. In good running order and complete with old RF60 logbook.
DESCRIPTION
- The original Scott Flying Squirrel was launched in 1926 and production ran until 1940
- Even with TT success in 1929, the model experienced slow sales and production waned
- This example is presented in very good condition
- Described by our vendor as in 'immaculate condition' having been meticulously restored throughout
- Restoration included full engine rebuild, gearbox rebuild, new clutch, new Pilgrim oil pump, refurbished dynamo, refurbished forks, rebuilt Armstrong shocks, new wheels by Devon Rim Co, new carburettor, new exhaust, re-chromed and new stainless nuts and bolts
- The restoration was in excess of £5,000
- In good running order
- Complete with old RF60 logbook. UK-registered on a current V5C
