SUMMARY

Offered from 43-year ownership with £68,000 worth of restoration bills from marque specialists, JME. A fabulous opportunity.

DESCRIPTION

  • The accompanying Heritage Certificate confirms dispatch on 16/06/1958 to Car Mart Sales Ltd of London as a right-hand drive, home-market car
  • Factory fitted with disc brakes and overdrive, the registration number 88 RMU was issued in Middlesex and is included in the sale
  • Bought by our vendor on 06/07/1981 leading to decades of enjoyment, the car was rewarded with a restoration between 2018 and 2019
  • Marque specialist, JME Healeys of Leamington Spa, were commissioned and their available detailed invoices amount to some £68,000
  • Starting from the ground up, we can precis the extensive programme of works, described in detail and itemised down to the last bolt, 'as a proper job'
  • With a largely immaterial odometer reading of 75,832 miles (at time of cataloguing) the car is regretfully offered to auction due to our vendor’s advancing years
  • Worthy of serious consideration, few cars of this era have enjoyed such long and generous ownership at this keen estimate
