SUMMARY
Delightful, unassuming early Austin Seven DeLuxe with just over 15,000 miles.
DESCRIPTION
- A lovely early example finished in Speedwell Blue with a Tartan Red and grey fleck interior
- Supplied new by Brookmans Park Motors of Potters Bar back in 1959 (plaque on sill) and one of their very first sales
- Described by our vendor as remarkably original and as the factory intended. Some paintwork has been refreshed but the car is largely original with its factory floors and sills. The interior trim is original apart from the carpets which have been replaced
- Early features included a flat-top radiator, pressed steel oil cap, glass washer bottle, tubular steel seat frames, a straight (magic wand) gear stick, SU PD-type fuel pump etc.
- Our car was featured by Royal Mail to promote its Mary Quant Stamps back in the day and there are many photos of Mary Quant with the car
- #AA2S77363 is very well known within the '59 Register and has been inspected by them. They believe that the engine has never been out of the car
- The indicated mileage is 15,328 and this little Seven DeLuxe would fit into any Collection of vehicles from the 'Golden Era' of post-war British car manufacturing
