Very well restored BMW R50/Steib S500 combination fitted with a later R69S engine.
DESCRIPTION
- Introduced in 1955 as a range of bikes using Earles forks and enclosed drive shafts
- The new range also included the R50, R60 and the sporty R69
- This very well restored, plunger suspension model is presented in good running order and attached to a Steib S500 sidecar
- Restored to a high standard in 2022/23 by VP Restorations
- Owned by the same family since 1973 and had its original engine replaced for a sportier R69S engine in the late 1970s
- Small history file with some associated paperwork included
- Spares included as pictured plus a selection of other parts including forks, handlebars, centre stand, exhaust parts, engine bars, carburettors etc.
