Rare Villiers 197cc powered Sun Wasp.

DESCRIPTION

Sun Motorcycles started off producing bicycles in the early 1900s at their Aston factory in Birmingham
They started developing small, lightweight motorcycles in the late 1940s, utilising various Villiers two-stroke engines
Motorcycle production ended in 1959 and the company unusually went back to bicycle production with Raleigh
The Sun Wasp used the Villiers 9E 197cc engine in a plunger frame built between 1955 and 1959
This original example is presented in good overall condition
Last run two/three years ago so will need recommissioning or restoring before road use
UK-registered on a current V5C
