DESCRIPTION
- Built by Velocette as a BSA Gold Star competitor and was one of their best selling machines
- 500cc OHV, air-cooled, 34bhp, single-cylinder engine and 4-speed gearbox
- This particular example was owned by Jools Holland between 1988 and 2013
- Appears to be an older restoration and currently fitted with Rodark panniers
- Shown at many events over the years and a well-known bike in the Velocette world
- Not used for the last few years so may require some recommissioning before road use
- Engine turns freely with good compression
- Framed photo of Jools Holland sat on the bike included in the sale
- Numerous old MOTs, various photos and a hand-written receipt from Jools himself
