Right-hand drive from new and the last off the line at Renault's factory in West London

First registered in the UK on 25/03/1960. With our vendor since 1998. Restoration commenced 2002

Marque specialists given 'Carte Blanche' to make it "superbly drivable and accelerate, steer and brake in safety and comfort"

All the upgrades fitted the owner's brief; Renault R5 1982 1400cc engine on twin Webers

R10 Gearbox, R8 Gordini front brakes, rear brakes Clio 1.1, SS exhaust, special cooling system

Superbly finished in Rosso Corsa with red-piped Magnolia Connolly hide and Jaguar cloth roof-lining

The rebuild and upgrades cost well over £35,000 (invoices and photographs in the file)

Looking like a member of the cast from Herge's Adventures of Tintin, this little Renault is irresistible
