DESCRIPTION

  • Aermacchi was a manufacturing company founded in 1912 and known initially for aircraft production
  • Producing aircraft through both World Wars and beyond
  • They started producing motorcycles in 1951, Harley-Davidson purchased 50% in 1960 and Aermacchi started producing bikes for them
  • This example is presented in restored condition, last used in 2020 so will require some recommissioning before use
  • The frame is a 1962, crankcases were replaced and are dated as 1964
  • Was the Tim Jackson raced VMCC Championship-winning machine from 1998
  • History file included containing numerous receipts, race set-up info, race results, manual and parts list
  • Subject to a recent engine top end refresh
