SUMMARY
A low-ownership 1,498cc 116E Consul Capri, professionally converted to right-hand drive by Mario Tripicchio.
DESCRIPTION
- The Consul Capri was the two-door version of the Ford Classic, designed to take Ford in to the 1960s. Manufactured in small numbers at the time, there are now very few left
- Its stylish looks featured thin roof pillars and the B-pillars were dispensed with, in favour of fully opening side windows
- This example was supplied new to a gentleman in Oregon, US who later took it to California and then subsequently sold it to his son
- Imported into the UK and registered on 01/08/2012, it was bought by our vendor a few months later
- Professionally converted to right-hand drive by the well-respected Mario Tripicchio of Walsall, West Midlands
- Finished in Sapphire Blue, the blue vinyl interior has been refreshed with specialist works by noted experts Aldridge Trimming
- Regularly displayed on club stands, the car took part in the 60th anniversary celebrations at the Classic Motor Show in the NEC, Birmingham
- The current odometer reading was some 27,000 miles at the time of cataloguing and the car is presented to auction with numerous receipts and its V5C

Due to venue restrictions we need to be clear of the WEC by 1pm on Monday 11th therefore any motor vehicles not collected by this time will be taken to our transport partners storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day.
