SUMMARY
Very rare, 1962-built, steel-wheeled, pull-handle MG B returned from the US and now in need of a light refresh.
DESCRIPTION
- Any MGB enthusiast will confirm that the most desirable examples of the marque are the original '62/63 cars with the 3-bearing crankshaft and the external 'pull' door handles
- This late 1962 example began life as a left-hand drive, US-spec car finished in Old English White and was first registered in the US on 01/01/1963
- We understand it was restored in the States in 1981 and finished in a brighter shade of white. Only one US owner for 48 years
- Returned to the UK on 01/05/2012 and converted to right-hand drive. Only one UK registered owner since import
- Our vendor informs us that the bodywork is generally sound but it does need some preparation and fresh paint (perhaps a good time to return it to OEW)
- The white-piped red Vinyl seating and red carpets appear to be in good condition
- Supplied with an original workshop manual, the Heritage Certificate, and a couple of old MOTs including the most recent in 2013
- Early MGBs are now very rare with only 18 1962-built cars left, we understand

Super Rare Pretty Original MGB built in late 1962. It was Old English White and has been painted a brighter white when restored in 1981. The bodywork is extremely good body lines are great the paint however does need repainting a perfect time to go back to Old English White. Solid original panels, the floor has no evidence of patches nor the boot floor.
