Survivors of the 1960s BSA/Triumph Edward Turner-designed 'super scooter' are now extremely rare, making this 1,858-mile, well-restored, 175cc example quite special.
DESCRIPTION
- Sold by George Clark Motors Ltd. of Brixton Hill in 1963 and with the same family ever since
- Its ex-military owner used it daily to commute for work hence the very low mileage of 1,858 and great condition
- Lightly restored and now very usable. Restoration work included an engine rebuild, piston rings, ignition points, alternator service (coils) and a decontamination & fluid change
- The seat has been reupholstered and the frame repainted as well as some areas of the body panels with numerous fixings being replaced with stainless steel equivalents
- Supplied with its original Bill of Sale, hire purchase agreement, insurance document from 1962, its original buff logbook (RF60) and the current V5C showing no previous owners
- Also included in the sale are an original Castrol 'Scooter Care' booklet and a copy of the complete parts list for the Tigress

Please note all motorcycles must be out of the venue by midday on Monday 20th February due to venue restrictions.
We are permitted to remove a limited number of motorcycles after the auction on Saturday (between 6pm – 8pm) and after the show closes on Sunday 19th February (between 5pm – 7pm).
Please note Motorcycles cannot be removed from the hall during live event hours.
All other motorcycles must be removed from the venue between 9am – 11am on Monday 20th February.

Any motorcycles not collected by 11am on Monday 20th February will be taken to our transport partners’ facility in Northamptonshire for a fee of £125 + VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £10 per day thereafter.
