UK-supplied, matching numbers, pre-unit Triumph Trophy TR6SS.
DESCRIPTION
- The SS model was launched in 1962 as part of the TR6 range and remained in production until 1966
- US-market models had a two-into-one exhaust system, with UK bikes having two separate pipes
- Last of the pre-unit models with only 1,266 bikes being produced that year
- Finished in burgundy and silver, this restored example is in running order
- Matching numbers and dispatched new to dealers, Jack Butler & Co, in Leamington Spa in 1962
- Complete with old MOT, dating letter, some receipts, registration paperwork and photos of the bike pre-restoration
- Currently no battery fitted
- UK-registered from new and complete with its current V5C
