DESCRIPTION
- Delivered new to Mr Eric Colston J.P. of the Hoover Vacuum Company on the 08/04/1963
- Mr Colston famously coined the slogan “Hoover the carpet” and was a major benefactor to his local village
- The car later spent time in the United States and was repatriated on 12th July 1991
- Bought by our vendor’s neighbour in 1991 from marque specialists The Real Car Company
- Painted in Mason Black in 1994 the car’s coachwork gleams and the grey leather interior is nicely patinated
- Our vendor bought the car from his neighbour 21/10/2019 and it was regularly exercised
- Presented to auction with an extensive history file, RREC build sheets, service receipts and 12,800 miles
