DESCRIPTION

  • Launched in 1959, the W111 was quickly dubbed the Heckflosse (Fintail) in Germany
  • Not a great success in the UK probably because it was rather expensive
  • This is a rare original, UK-supplied 2.2-litre, 220SEb Saloon with a manual column change
  • Supplied new in 1963 by Cambridge Motors, Chelmsford finished in MB Light Blue (DB-334)
  • The V5C details two former registered keepers (possibly others on the 'Buff' logbook). 83,678 miles indicated
  • Good history file, lots of paperwork, the Bill of Sale, service and maintenance invoices and MOT Certificates
