A very rare and highly sought after 'Blechbanana' (tin banana), presenting well after a restoration.

DESCRIPTION

In the early 1960s, Victoria and DKW merged under the newly formed Zweirad Union AG, producing a range of mopeds and motorcycles for the German domestic market
The Victoria 155 is a typical product of mid-century design and mentality, demonstrating that even a relatively inexpensive object can reflect elegance
Though these bikes were produced in mass quantities, very few have survived and it is increasingly rare to see one on the market
The 155 has the more desirable 49cc engine which generates 4.2bhp at 6,500rpm
Its leading-arm front suspension gives a soft-riding style offering a luxury moped experience
This original, UK-delivered example was restored around ten years ago and has been on display in a private collection for some time
Currently not UK-registered but supplied with a dating certificate, its original VIN plate and frame number and its original UK number plates

Any motorcycles not collected by 2pm on Monday 31^st July will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day thereafter.
