DESCRIPTION
- Introduced in 1945, the AJS Model 16 was developed from the WWII AJS G3
- The Model 16C (C for competition) was a trials derivative and in 1964 the engine featured a Norton-designed geared oil pump
- This genuine, AMC-framed bike features a works copy sub-frame, rear loop and lightweight swing arm
- Fitted with Borrani rims with a 5-bolt hub on the 18" rear and a quick release 21" front
- Engine is a Norton oil pumped 350cc with high-lift cam and coil spring conversion
- Recent engine refurbish by marque expert Ken DeGroome with new Monoblock caburettor
- AMC gearbox with modified high fourth gear by Andy Bamford
- Competition forks featuring alloy top yoke, longer main springs and modified dampers
- Other period competition features include alloy inner and outer primary cases, brass fitted alloy band, Amal levers, Wader magneto, alloy central oil tank and alloy engine plates
- Engine not used since refurb so will require some running in

All motorcycles must be removed from the NEC between 9am and 2pm on Monday 13th November. Full payment must be received before any items are available to be released.
A member of the administration team will contact you to confirm your transport plans. If we do not hear back from you by 9am on Monday 13th we will arrange for our transport partner, Moving Motorcycles to collect the motorcycle on your behalf and take it to their storage facility in Northamptonshire for a fee of £120 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day thereafter.
