DESCRIPTION
- Plunger-framed D1 assembled from an almost complete box of bits
- D1 Bantam production finished in 1963 so many of the parts may be earlier
- Powered by BSA's remarkable little 123cc single-cylinder two-stroke
- The owner at the time decided to assemble the Bantam in the style of a tradesman's vehicle
- The 'Bakers Bike' conversion is based on a fabricated steel frame with spring-supported outrigger wheels
- 'Florence' will require some recommissioning prior to returning to the road
- Supplied with a history folder containing some technical information
- No registration paperwork is supplied with the bike
- Offered without Reserve
- Worthwhile restoration project, would make a great promotion vehicle and welcome at the Goodwood Revival
