DESCRIPTION

We are proud to offer for sale, possibly, the most inexpensive entry into historic rallying that one might be able to imagine. Not only does this car have good genes, being as it's a genuine 2-door Mk.I Cortina GT with a matching numbers engine, but it also has new MSA historic rally papers and a successful rallying history to boot.This dynamic mid-sixties saloon is powered by an unburstable pre-crossflow GT engine fed by twin 40 Weber carburettors, mated to the correct 2000E gearbox as was fitted to the original Cortina GT road cars. It has a Gartrac Atlas axle with a 5.1 LSD differential, a front strut brace, full sump and gearbox guards, Minilite style wheels and is shod with Dunlop forest tyres.In the cockpit are two brand new Sparco seats and belts, a full navigator's dashboard, a fire suppression kit, a full cage and perspex windows within the aluminium doors. The boot lid is also aluminium to save a bit more weight.Offered "rally ready' with a fresh MOT, what' s not to like about this cracking little Red Rally Rocket.

Motor vehicles

Vehicles can be collected from The Wing on Monday 2nd August between 9am and 3pm.

Our transport partners, EM Rogers, can assist with collection and delivery. Please contact them on

01604 755511 or trafficdesk@emrogers.co.uk for a quote.

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in

Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.

Motorcycles

Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a

fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.

Automobilia

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am

and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in

Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
