SUMMARY
Spending the first years of its life in Hawaii, this original right-hand drive Series I has been professionally restored to a remarkable standard.
DESCRIPTION
Finished in a delightful shade of Primrose Yellow with a black interior, this particular Series I Coupé was originally built in May 1965 and was ordered as a personal export in right-hand drive format, before being shipped to Jaguar New York prior to distribution to its first owner, a D.H. Hayselden in Honolulu, Hawaii who, it is believed, had previously taken delivery of his cherished Jaguar in person at the factory prior to it leaving the UK. With a professional restoration just completed, it presents to the very highest of standards and to a level rarely achieved, including a full body strip and refinish in its original Pale Primrose, a comprehensive engine and gearbox rebuild, a complete drivetrain overhaul, a total re-chrome and of course, a full retrim to finish things off. Nothing remains untouched. This E-Type is as clean underneath as it is on top and worthy of any close inspection which is welcomed and encouraged to fully appreciate the quality on offer.
It's accompanied by a comprehensive history file including its Heritage Certificate, numerous invoices and general paperwork detailing rebuilds and other works, and a full photographic record of the most recent restoration will also be provided. A fabulous, matching numbers Series I with real attention to detail that will be perfectly at-home in any Jaguar collection or out on the open road as intended.
