1965 Morris Mini Cooper 1275 S

Launched in September 1961, the Mini Cooper offered a size/price/performance package that was nothing short of miraculous. It soon established its credentials as a rally and race winner, and the stage was set for even faster versions. The first of these - the 1,071cc Mini Cooper S (late 1963 until August 1964) took engine development a stage further and provided the basis for the 970 S and 1275 S of 1964.

Offered here is probably the best 1275 Cooper S that you can buy on the market today in our opinion. The accompanying BMIHT Certificate confirms that this car was delivered new to the UK in June 1965, equipped with optional fresh-air heater and finished in the rare combination of Fiesta Yellow with an Old English White roof, with a Powder Blue/Gold Brocade Grey interior, which is as the car sits today.

The Mini has been impeccably restored to factory-specification by Scott Turner, who has extensive expertise in restoring these special cars to the highest of standards and the results are clear to see.
